From the day we opened in 1979, we have remained consistent in our commitment to our customers and our desire to do whatever it takes to leave them satisfied with a job well done. At Tyler Construction, the satisfaction of our customers has always been and will always be our top priority, whether commercial, industrial, military or government. We approach every construction project with the care and professionalism needed to finish it right, on time, and within budget.

Now, after 40+ years in the construction industry we look back and contribute the continued success of our business to always providing quality work paired with exemplary customer service. At Tyler Construction, it all starts with hiring the right people, professionals who are dedicated and motivated to succeed in their craft. We provide them with the training and incentive to continue to be the best in the business, which means the best for everyone: them, us, and of course you, the client.

We foster close communication between contractor and client at every stage of the construction process, but it’s so much more than that. As a family owned company, we value relationships and take time to cultivate close ties with all involved, from suppliers to designers, sub-contractors, and property owners. We feel this helps efficiently meet any need that arises while delivering a finished project that fulfills every expectation.

Every one of our superintendents has years of experience to complement their knowledge in both construction and renovation processes. They maintain a strong presence in supervision of the job site and oversee the work from start to finish. Working closely with subcontractors allows them to entrust the work to personnel that is prepared to meet the requirements of any job safely and professionally. At Tyler Construction, we pride ourselves on finding solutions for every project and every client.

Walter S. and Elaine Tyler founded Tyler Construction in December 1979, operating out of a small trailer located behind Walter’s family home. From the beginning, they shared a clear vision: to deliver commercial, military, and industrial construction projects with complete client satisfaction as the company’s highest priority.

In 2007, Walter Tyler transitioned leadership of the company to his two sons, Charles and Greg Tyler. While he remains actively connected to the organization and visits the office regularly, Walter now enjoys a well-earned retirement, confident in the continued success and values of the company that he established.
